Florida Tech Hosts “Surfing the Waves of I/O Psychology”
– Florida Tech’s School of Psychology will host the national 2005 Industrial-Organizational Behavior
Conference (IOOB), “Surfing the Waves of I/O Psychology,” Feb. 25-27 at the Radisson Suite Hotel Oceanfront in Indialantic.
The conference brings together graduate students in the fields of industrial/organizational psychology, organizational behavior and human resource
management to present their research and learn from practitioners and academics.
Florida Tech established Industrial/Organizational Psychology master’s and doctoral programs in 1986. The field focuses on applying professional skills and
scientific research on problems people encounter at work. Program goals are to train well-rounded I/O psychologists who have flexibility in their career
paths and the skills to make a significant difference in society.
