Florida Tech Invites Alumni To Meet Leadership Team

– Florida Tech alumni living on the Space Coast are invited to meet the university’s new, three-person leadership team on Sept. 18, from 4 to 6 p.m. The
meeting will take place at Kennedy Space Center’s Debus Center, in the Atlas Room. Leadership team members are:

President Anthony James Catanese, who was previously president of Florida Atlantic University and the provost of Pratt Institute in New York City.

Provost T. Dwayne McCay, who was formerly vice president for research and information technology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Senior Vice President for Advancement Thomas G. Fox, who recently moved from Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia , where he was senior vice
president for advancement and sponsored programs.

The university’s Office of Alumni Affairs will host the program.

“We hope to draw out many local alumni, who will come to hear the team’s plans for the growth and improvement of our university,” said Ken Droscher,
assistant vice president for development and alumni affairs.
