Florida Tech Named to Top 25 in Nation in Preseason Poll

MELBOURNE, Fla. (Women’s Basketball) – The Florida Tech women’s basketball team was
named as a top 25 team in the nation on Thursday. The USA Today and ESPN Division II Top 25 Coaches’ poll determined that Florida Tech was the
25th ranked team in the nation headed into the season.

The University of North Dakota, Southern Connecticut State University and Emporia State University round out the top three in the poll respectively.

This is another accolade for the women’s basketball team before the team has even played a game. The Panthers were picked to finish third in the Sunshine
State Conference according to the conference’s coaches’ poll. No other SSC teams were listed in the USA Today and ESPN Division II Top 25 Coaches’
poll.
