Florida Tech Names Fox New Senior Vice President for Advancement

– President Anthony James Catanese appointed Dr. Thomas G. Fox senior vice president for advancement today, concluding an exhaustive national search for
this key leadership position. Fox brings three decades of academic and administrative experience to the newly created position, spending the last three
years as the senior vice president for advancement and sponsored programs at Wheeling Jesuit University.

Fox said he looks forward to joining Florida Tech’s executive team, and is already planning for the future.

“This is an exciting time to join Florida Tech under the leadership of Dr. Catanese,” said Fox. “I will build this new opportunity on my arrival by
creating an advancement organization internally, and by meeting with donors, opinion leaders and the public at large.”

Fox, who will start on July 1, was chosen from nearly 200 candidates.

“In the end, Dr. Fox was clearly the best qualified candidate for this important new position on my leadership team,” said Catanese. “He brings excellent
development credentials, an intuitive understanding of marketing and public relations and the kind of innate leadership qualities you don’t find every
day.”

As the senior vice president for advancement, Fox will lead Florida Tech’s development, communications, alumni, publications and public radio functions.
