Florida Tech Names New Director of International Students

– Judith Brooke has been named Director of International Student and Scholar Services for the Florida Tech Office of Student Services. Since 2003, Brooke
has been Director of Major Gifts in the Office of Development. She begins her new position on July 12.

Reporting to Marsha Duncan, Vice President for Student Affairs, Brooke’s primary responsibility will be managing and delivering services to international
students, faculty and staff. Additionally, she will have broad responsibility for program planning and activities. She will be involved in immigration,
counseling, programming, administration of the SEVIS database program, and will be primary liaison with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and government
and private sponsors.

Brooke, with 15 years of experience in higher education, was director of development for the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia
University in New York. She was in a similar position for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Development Office at Rutgers University in New Jersey. In both
jobs, she had extensive interaction with international faculty, staff and students.

Brooke earned a Bachelor of Science in communications from the University of Miami where she completed a double major in English and advertising and
graduated cum laude. She was educated in South Africa and Jamaica, and has traveled and lived abroad extensively.
