MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Institute of Technology’s Department of Humanities and Communication offers “free tickets” to the inauguration of Barack Obama on
Jan. 20, beginning at 10 a.m. At that time, the university will open its Gleason Performing Arts Center to the public as well as the campus community for a
wide-screen simulcast of the event. No reservations are necessary. The coverage will continue until about 1 p.m.
The Gleason Performing Arts Center is located on University Boulevard, near the intersection of Babcock Street.
