Florida Tech Course Teaches Methods Used by
Fortune 500 Companies to Improve Quality, Reduce Cost

 MELBOURNE, FLA.—Fortune 500 companies succeed by consistently improving how they do business. Florida Institute of Technology will share some of their improvement methods through Six Sigma® Green Belt Training Exam Prep, March 8-11. The course, offered through a partnership with CAS Adaptive Solutions Inc., provides a comprehensive overview of Six Sigma concepts and tools, and prepares students for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Six Sigma Green Belt exam.

Participants will receive an in-depth review of the ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt Handbook for preparing to take the exam or to simply find out more about Six Sigma concepts and processes to improve their organization’s performance. Topics covered include the five areas of the Green Belt Body of Knowledge: Six Sigma and the Organization, Define, Measure, Analyze and Improve and Control. The course also includes Design for Six Sigma, Process and Project Management, and more.

The course location is at Florida Tech, in the Babcock Oaks building, 2202 South Babcock St., Suite 101, Melbourne. This is on the west side of the street, just south of Melbourne Avenue.
