Florida Tech Offers Free Halloween Show, Thriller
MELBOURNE, FLA. — The Florida Tech music ensembles will present Thriller, a free Halloween show on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7:30 p.m. in the university’s Gleason
Center for Performing Arts.
The show will feature highlights from Sweeney Todd, the Harry Potter films, Mozart’s Requiem and, of course, Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
Audience treats include costumed performers, special effects, dance and the inaugural performance of Florida Tech’s new Latin percussion group.
“Our Halloween show promises spooky fun with time left over for trick-or-treating or taking in the other Halloween events,” said Jamie Younkin, music
director. Extra treats are in the offing for audience members who come in costume.
