Florida Tech Offers New, Online Human Factors in Aeronautics Masters Degree

MELBOURNE, FLA. — A new, online Human Factors in Aeronautics Master’s degree program begins this fall at Florida Institute of Technology. The degree,
available through the College of Aeronautics, meets or exceeds all of the high academic and research standards established for the university’s resident
Aviation Human Factors master’s degree.
Requirements include:
• Completion of all requirements in two calendar years, with two classes taken each semester
• Thirty-three semester hours of study
• Basic research and a thesis
• Students must be present on the main campus for two days at the end of each semester for course cap seminars and final examinations

Candidates without direct aviation experience may qualify for the program by taking a general prerequisite course offered during the summer prior to the
start of the fall semester.
