Florida Tech Presidents Faculty Band Performs Aug. 14

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology President Anthony J. Catanese plays drums with his all-faculty band in a benefit performance Aug. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the university’s Gleason Performing Arts Center.

The name of the rock ‘n roll band, TWITCHY, is an acronym for the names of the original faculty players who compose it. The other musicians are Alan Rosiene, Ivica Kostanic, Fred Ham, Cliff Bragdon, Jamie Younkin, Winston Scott, Tom Waite, and Kevin Johnson.

The suggested ticket donation is $20. All proceeds will benefit the fund for a statue honoring founder and first president Dr. Jerome Keuper. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
