Florida Tech Professor Elected to Florida Renewable Energy Association
MELBOURNE, FLA.‒‒ Frank Leslie, adjunct professor of renewable energy in Florida Tech’s Department of Marine and Environmental Systems, was elected to the
Board of Directors of the Florida Renewable Energy Association. This is the Florida chapter of the American Solar Energy Society (ASES).
Leslie is life member and senior member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE), a former member of the Institute of Navigation,
and a life member of the Missiles, Space, and Range Pioneers. His primary experience is in communication systems, astrodynamics, geodesy, and
statistics.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana’s Tri-State University in electrical engineering and a master’s degree from Florida Tech in space technology.
