New Policy on Reserved Parking to Boost Available Spaces

A newly issued University Reserved Parking policy has been created to ensure fair and equitable parking opportunities on campus by reverting many previously reserved spaces to general parking spaces.

The policy applies to all students, staff and faculty parking on university-owned, leased, rented or borrowed property.

During Spring Break, Facilities Operations will modify or remove ‘reserved’ signage as appropriate across campus, creating more unreserved/general parking spaces. Paid reserved spots will continue to exist, as will executive-level spots.

Requests for reserved parking spaces will be considered on a case-by-case basis upon submission to the vice president of operations.
