Florida Tech START Presents Technology Workshop
– Florida Tech Start, a business accelerator for entrepreneurs and high-tech companies, presents a one-day workshop, “Early Stage Boot Camp for Technology
Entrepreneurs,” on Feb. 19. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Florida Tech’s Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation. Check in starts at 7:30 a.m.
The workshop is designed to help participants develop products and services; determine who the customer is; market to a target audience; understand and
identify intellectual property; protect and defend intellectual property; develop a technology business plan; prepare financial projections; become
investor-ready; and hire the right management team.
The presenters are industry leaders who have extensive experience in starting their own businesses as well as helping others start businesses.
Registration is $150. Early registration, by Feb. 12, is $100. The fee includes all course materials, meals and a cocktail reception at 5 p.m.
