Florida Tech Student Receives Ocean Engineering Fellowship
MELBOURNE, FLA. — Dana Arnouil has earned a $3,000 Link Foundation Fellowship for the 2008 spring semester. She is working toward a master’s degree in ocean
engineering at Florida Institute of Technology.
Arnouil, who graduated from South Broward High School in Hollywood, Fla., earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida Tech. Her academic interests have been
coastal processes and engineering.
The Link fellowship was established in 1997 after Florida Tech received a $25,000 endowment gift from the Link Foundation.
The Link endowment fund has been matched by gifts from the F.W. Olin Foundation of New York.
The DMES offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in oceanography, environmental science, ocean engineering, meteorology, coastal zone management and
environmental resource management.
