Florida Tech to Hold M.S. Degree Program Open House at Mighty Mushroom

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Anyone considering a master’s degree in computer information systems could benefit by attending an open house on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008,
from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Mighty Mushroom Pizzaria in West Melbourne. The event is hosted by Florida Institute of Technology and its University College
Master of Science in Computer Information Systems (CIS) degree program. The Mighty Mushroom Pizzeria is at 2400 Dairy Rd. Pizza and beverages will be
served. There is no charge.

Attendees will meet the computer information systems faculty who teach at Florida Tech’s main campus and at the Virtual Campus, which offers distance
learning.

The program is designed for students who do not have a bachelor’s degree in a computer science-related area, but who wish to increase and broaden their
knowledge and skills within the many disciplines of information systems field. The program’s practical approach to understanding computers encourages
individuals of all backgrounds, including computer science, to apply.
