Palm Bay Provides Funding to Upgrade Florida Tech’s Riverside Property

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The City of Palm Bay’s Bayfront Community Redevelopment Authority voted unanimously recently to provide a Targeted Incentive Grant in the amount of $7,881 to Florida Institute of Technology for renovations to the university’s River’s Edge property.

The property is located at 4400 N.E. Dixie Hwy. A charter school previously occupied the 40,000-square-feet Florida Tech-owned buildings.

Florida Tech expects to move into the site in spring 2013. New tenants will include Florida Tech University Online and the Department of Extended Studies.
