Womens Business Center Offers Class in Streaming Media

MELBOURNE, FLA. — The Florida Tech Women’s Business Center (WBC) presents the one-day class, “Streaming Media, Make me a Star!” on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 9
a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $199. Men and women are welcome to attend.

In this fast-paced class, students are coached to produce and direct a streaming video. Participants learn about storyboards, cameras, video editing and
more. Lighting, backdrops and other appropriate technical and production supplies and equipment are provided. Students must come prepared with descriptions
or copies of their marketing plan, logos and other digital and hardcopy materials and copies or links to preferred music, slides and photos as well as
ideas for voice-over scripts.

Students will actively participate in the direction and production of all aspects of a 30-second video, which they may keep and use. The course is limited
to six students. Each student must participate in a one-hour, pre-class interview with the instructor to facilitate proper preparation.

The presenter is J. Brewer, an international business developer with helloWorld (www.helloworld.com/jwbrewer). His organization offers video
e-mail, live video broadcasting, video conferencing and more. From 1999-2001 he was the vice president of technology and client services for JoePix Inc., a
digital photography marketing and promotions agency. Previously he has been a network and Internet consultant to Group Technologies, Harris Corp. and
AT&T.

The class will be held on campus in the Link Building, Room 327. For more information and to sign up, call (321) 674-7007.
