Florida Tech Volleyball to host Summer Girls Volleyball Camps
MELBOURNE, Fla. – New volleyball head coach Qi Wang along with the current Florida Tech volleyball players will be holding a girls volleyball camp
during the 2007 summer months starting on July 23rd and will be going through August 3rd for girls ages 10-18 in the Clemente Center on the campus of
Florida Tech.
The camp is going to include all phases of the volleyball game including individual and team playing skills along with special volleyball conditioning,
agility, jumping and strength training.
Camp dates and times:
July 23rd – 24th: All Skills Camp I
July 25th – 26th: Special Camps
July 27th: Individual Camp
July 30th – 31st: Team Camp
August 1st – 2nd: All Skills Camp II
August 3rd: Advanced Camp
All Camp Times: 9:00am – 4:00pm
All Skills Camp – Instruction to improve player’s basic fundamental skills as a volleyball player.
Specialty Camp – Individual instruction of skills designated to a players specific position.
Individual Camp – Instruction of all related volleyball skills with the purpose of improving the individual to perform at a higher level.
Team Camp – Instruction to all High School Varsity and Junior Varsity teams with an emphasis on team play and game strategy. Each team needs to
have at least seven players including one setter, five hitters and one L or DS.
Advanced Camp – Designed for the individual to further their career in volleyball by challenging the individual with all the advanced skills and
techniques to perform at a collegiate level.
Tentative Camp Schedule:
8:00 – 8:50am – Registration on the first day at the Clemente Center
9:00 – 11:50am – Sessions
Noon – 1:20pm – Lunch (provided by Florida Tech)
1:30pm – 4:00pm – Sessions
4:00pm – 5:00pm – Free play and closing
Tuition:
Two Day All Skills Camp: $175 (one day only $95)
Two Day Special Camp: $175 (one day only $95)
One Day Individual Camp: $100
Two Day Team Camp: $175 (one day only $95)
One Day Advanced Camp: $100
