Florida TechStart Announces Second Entrepreneurial Boot Camp

– Florida Tech’s Florida TechStart, a business accelerator for entrepreneurs and high-tech companies, presents a two-day boot camp, or workshop, Feb. 10
and 11. The boot camp takes place in Florida Tech’s Hartley Room in the Denius Student Center.

Day 1 is intended for entrepreneurs in the early stage of their venture or those contemplating starting a business. Day 1 curriculum includes product
development, determining your market, recognizing, protecting and defending intellectual property, technology business planning, being investor-ready and
creative financing.

Day 2, an interactive workshop, is for entrepreneurs whose businesses are up and running and who seek ways to make improvements. The curriculum includes
financial management for business owners, finding customers and getting sales, marketing technology, marketing engineering services, marketing
technology-based products and managing employees. Outstanding speakers and successful entrepreneurs will lead the workshop sessions. Those interested may
enroll to attend one or both days.

The mission of Florida TechStart is to train and develop leaders who will make high-tech ventures successful. It is a partnership of the College of Engineering and College of Business.
