MELBOURNE, FLA.—To mark the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s death, Florida Institute of Technology’s School of Arts and Communication will host “Perspectives on the Death of a President:
Reflections and Remembrances of John F. Kennedy and His Times,” The panel discussion will be Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. in the Denius Student Center’s John and Martha Hartley Room.
Florida Tech historians and guest civic leaders will discuss the life and career of JFK. Former Congressman and local physician Dave Weldon and Florida Tech President Anthony J. Catanese will be among those to discuss the domestic and foreign policy issues of his presidency and the question of Kennedy’s place in American history.
