Free Spring Music Showcase Coming to Florida Tech
MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Tech’s Gleason Performing Arts Center will be the site of A Spring Music Showcase on April 19 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open
to the public. It will feature students from the university’s choral and instrumental programs, which include College Choir, String Ensemble and Woodwind
Ensemble, new university electives. Students will perform in a variety of musical styles, including folk, classical, traditional and popular.
The groups are directed by Mark Maslin, instructor in humanities and coordinator of music programs. The concert is sponsored by the Florida Tech Humanities
and Communication Department.
