Womens Business Center Seminar Offers Free Class in Green Investing

MELBOURNE, FLA. — The Florida Tech Women’s Business Center (WBC) and National Center for Small Business Information (NCSBI) present the seminar, “Green
Investing,” on May 8, from 1 to 2 p.m. There is no cost for the seminar.

The seminar looks at starting a green business and seeks to answer the questions: “What is green investing?, “Can business evolve in a green world? And
“What is your carbon footprint?”

The latter needs to be done prior to the seminar as it takes a day for results. Go to http://www.earthlab.com/carbonprofile and bring results to class.

The course will be held on campus in the Link Building, Room 327.

The WBC offers well-equipped facilities conveniently located at Florida Tech; teachers, mentors and volunteers with expertise and business knowledge;
partnering with community organizations for broad outreach; and training and resources that are onsite and online to accommodate busy schedules and provide
easy access.

NCSBI at Florida Tech is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor.
