Tennis Holds Clinic in Conjunction with 2006 Fall Women’s Doubles Championships

MELBOURNE, Fla. — Florida Tech will host its first fall community clinic on Friday, October 6 at the De Soto Park on Satellite Beach. The free tennis clinic
will kick off the weekend of the 2006 Fall Florida Collegiate Doubles Championships.

The tennis clinic is free for everyone, all levels, and all age groups. The Panther men’s and women’s tennis players will help run Friday’s clinic which
begins at 5:30 p.m. and will end around 7:30 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in drill, match and game court action. Come out and
enjoy a night of free tennis lessons, meet the team, and play lots of tennis.

On Saturday the 7th, the team will host the doubles competition hosting perennial national powerhouse Rollins College along with Flagler College. The
matches will begin at 9:00 a.m. at DeSoto Park on Satellite Beach. Along with doubles action, Tech’s men will host Flagler College in a scrimmage beginning
at noon on Saturday.
