Gary L. Hamme is New Vice Provost for Enrollment Management
Florida Tech Provost T. Dwayne McCay has appointed Gary L. Hamme vice provost for enrollment management. Hamme will administer undergraduate and graduate
admissions, and financial aid functions as well as manage student retention activities.
Most recently, Hamme served as vice president for marketing and enrollment management at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he was responsible for
strategic enrollment and university-wide marketing efforts. These included attracting and retaining qualified, full-time students, financial aid
operations, oversight of career services for current students and graduates, public relations and communications. He also oversaw university-wide marketing
for the university’s two major locations — in Arizona and Florida.
From 2000 to 2004, Hamme was vice president for enrollment management at Fairleigh Dickinson University and he was dean of enrollment and career management
at Drexel University in Pennsylvania from 1985 to 2000. He also held various positions at Price Waterhouse in Philadelphia, Pa. and in Morristown, N.J.,
1974-1985, where he rose to the position of director of human resources and financial services.
“We are delighted to welcome this seasoned professional to an extremely key position at Florida Tech,” said McCay. “We expect Mr. Hamme’s 30-plus years of
relevant experiences and leadership to be a tremendous asset.”
