Donn Miller-Kermani Joins Area Boards

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Donn Miller-Kermani, director of the Women’s Business Center (WBC) at Florida Institute of Technology, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of the Space Coast and the Board of Directors of the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce. Also, she was appointed to the St. Joseph Catholic School board in Palm Bay.

The WBC is entering its fifth year of partial funding from the U.S. Small Business Administration. It has served 341 clients since 2007 and its classes, networking events and conferences have been attended by more than 4,500 individuals.

The WBC at Florida Tech is partially funded through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and is an outreach of the Nathan M. Bisk College of Business. The WBC provides women with opportunities, tools and connections to advance their global influence and success. The center offers well-equipped facilities conveniently located at Florida Tech, teachers, mentors and volunteers with expertise and business knowledge, partnering with community organizations for broad outreach, and training and resources that are onsite and online to accommodate busy schedules and provide easy access.
