Guests Discover Peace Corps Fellows Program in ‘Safari Experience’

– Nearly 100 guests came to Florida Tech in June to hear African adventure stories from Suzie DeBusk, Dragonpoint Computer Solutions, and Tim LaPage,
Safari Experts. The visitors also learned more about Florida Tech’s Environmental Education Peace Corps/USA Fellowship Program.

Steve MacCleod, a former Peace Corps volunteer and program fellow, and Dr. John Morris, associate professor of biological sciences, also made presentations
on the fellowship program and on the ties between ecotourism and conservation efforts.

Among the guests were Gary and Else Cunningham, Daryl Bishop, Debra and Scott Kemps, Bruce Ingram, Bill and Marilyn Koehne, Betty and Raymond Preece,
Sharon and Larry Cody, Gladd Kurian, Mike and Joan Holliday, Ruth Funk, Dr. Gary Wells and Beverley Wells, Florida Tech Peace Corps Fellows Program
Coordinator Dr. Tom Marcinkowski and Marie Marcinkowski, and former Florida Tech fellowship program participants Katrina Babulski, Michelle Reznicik and
Ela Merrick.

The event, which included an hors d’oeuvres reception, was sponsored by Gary Cunningham, Dragonpoint Computer Solutions, Island Paint and Decorating,
Safari Experts, First Business Bank and Florida Tech.
