Hear Free Jazz at the Panthereum on Nov. 25

MELBOURNE, FL — WFIT 89.5FM, a service of Florida Tech, and the City of Melbourne, present “Jazz at the Panthereum” on Sunday, Nov. 25, from 3 to 6 p.m. on
campus in the Panthereum near the Denius Student Center. The free concert will feature piano player Mark Simmons, bass player Ron Pirtle, drummer Randy
Crouch and special guest vocalist Vicki Belmonte.

Simmons, from the Orlando area, has played piano for many great jazz musicians including vocalist Jackie Jones. He performs solo, in quartets and in larger
groups and is known for his professionalism as well as his superb ability. Upright bass player, Ron Pirtle, is a regular performer at Heidi’s Jazz Club and
Galaxy Grille in Indialantic. He’s in high demand to support vocalists and groups. Drummer Randy Crouch, a soft drummer, is a welcome support to vocalists.

Port St. Lucie jazz singer Vicki Belmonte has a huge resume of songs. A former Broadway actress, she knows how to keep her audiences involved in what she
is singing.
