Horst Finishes Strong at Division II Cross Country Champioship
JOPLIN, Mo. (Cross Country) – Florida Tech’s Carolyn Salois-Horst became the first
Panther cross country runner in two decades to compete in the Division II National Championships this weekend, and the senior finished her career strong.
Horst placed 74th out of 189 runners from around the country, finishing with a time of 22:28.6. She ends her career with the Panthers as one of
the most decorated runners in the program’s history. Her credits include all-conference, all-region and Sunshine State Conference Runner of the Week
accolades multiple times. Horst also won several races during her tenure, including two in her final season.
