Horst Moves on to Cross Country National Championship
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Cross Country) – With a 10th place finish at the NCAA Division II Regional
meet, senior Carolyn Salois-Horst has qualified for nationals as an individual. Horst crossed the line in a time of 22:48 in the women’s
6K race. Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year Myles Garza led the pack for the Panthers in the men’s 10K race, finishing
39th with a time of 34:27.
Horst will have a two-week layoff before heading to Joplin, Missouri Saturday, Nov. 17, to compete in the Division II National Championship meet.
