Human Resources Society Announces Chartering Ceremony

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Students of the Florida Institute of Technology Industrial/Organizational Psychology program and members of the local business community
have formed a new student chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The chapter will host its chartering ceremony on Sept. 25 at 2 p.m.
in the Denius Student Center Hartley Room on campus. Anyone may attend.

The student chapter will provide its members with human resource information, networking opportunities and other professional benefits.
The executive body includes Dr. Lisa Steelman, adviser; Patrice Reid, president; Michael McFadden, vice president; Elizabeth Grozman, secretary; and Jatana
Perry, treasurer.

In the ceremony will be a presentation of the charter and installation of chapter officers. Guest speaker Shelley Fick, president elect of the South
Brevard SHRM, will provide the keynote address.
