Foosaner Art Museum Features Florida Artists in Permanent Collection June 1-July 8

MELBOURNE, FLA. – The Foosaner Art Museum, Florida Institute of Technology, presents Florida Artists from the Permanent Collection June 1 – July 8. Organized from the museum’s permanent collection, the exhibition will include works by important national and regional artists and community favorites. Paintings, sculptures, and photographic works will be on view, including never before displayed works from the collection.

The opening reception on Friday, June 1 will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and coincide with the museum’s Jazz Friday and the Eau Gallie Arts District’s First Friday events. There is no fee for this event, which is suitable for all ages.

Artists in the exhibition include Becky Beerensen, A.E. Backus, Clyde Butcher, Mari Conneen, Nancy Crawford, Frank Dienst, Jacquie Fort, Catherine Ferrell, Sandy Johnson, Mona Jordan, Fran Knight, Marg Kuhl, Susan Martin, Michael “Nemo” Nemnich, Duncan McClellan, Eliot McMurrough, Marlis Newman, Barbara Osmundsen, Abigail Perlmutter, Ellen Plankey, Rick Piper, Virginia Raymond, Darrel Rhode, Mildred Richardson, James Rosenquist, Vera Sattler, Nancy Seib, George Snyder and Barbara Sorensen.
