Interfraternity Council Announces New Officers

MELBOURNE, FLA. — The coordinating body for fraternities and sororities at Florida Tech, the Interfraternity Council, has elected officers for the 2008 term.
They are:

President
Jonathan Perout, Chi Phi National Fraternity
Executive Vice President
Phil Meyer, Lambda Chi Alpha International Fraternity
Judicial Vice President
Eric Miller, Pi Lambda Phi National Fraternity
Administrative Vice President
Jared Bobzien, Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity
Recruitment and Expansion Vice President
Michael Hayden, Tau Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity

The officers were nominated by member chapter delegates of the Interfraternity Council. The candidate for each position then met with the executive board
to determine their qualifications for the position. Among other requirements, each candidate was reviewed to ensure requirement fulfillment of 2.5/4.0
minimum GPA, 30 credit hours completed and at least 12 credit hours in progress during tenure.

The Interfraternity Council comprises six member fraternities. The purpose of this organization is to initiate, develop, coordinate, oversee, and maintain
programs and activities of mutual interest to the National Interfraternity Council.
