International Society of Logistics Appoints Bragdon to Advisory Board
– Dr. Cliff Bragdon, dean of the University College at Florida Institute of Technology and the executive director of the
University Consortium for Intermodal Transportation Safety and Security, has been appointed to the International Society of Logistics (SOLE) Board of
Advisors. SOLE is a non-profit, international, professional society devoted to scientific, educational and literary endeavors to enhance the art and
science of logistics technology, education and management. The organization is headquartered near Washington D.C. and has 90 chapters in more than 50
In addition to this appointment, Dr. Bragdon has also been selected chair of the editorial board of Logistics Spectrum, the official publication of the
International Society of Logistics, published quarterly since 1966. This publication has a readership of 55,000 professionals, and a paid circulation of
4,000 per issue. It will be based at Florida Tech beginning in 2006.
