Last Chance to Meet PMBOK Formal Project Management Training Requirements for PMP Certification under Current Guidelines

Workshop is April 8-11

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Due to high demand, Florida Institute of Technology’s Continuing Education Department has added a project management course to meet the need of those seeking to meet the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK®)

formal project management training requirements for PMP® Certification under the current guidelines. The new guidelines go into effect after July; this will be the last time Florida Tech will offer the course before the changes take effect.

This four-day course includes 35 hours of intensive training based on the Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK®).

The course, which teaches the fundamentals of project management as defined in the PMBOK, will be taught by Mark Laposky, M.S., PMP, MCTS. During the past 10 years, Laposky has contributed to the development and delivery of a three-day project management best practices workshop for United Space Alliance, which he has taught more than 25 times.

The onsite workshop, April 8-11, will be held at the Florida Tech Commons Building. To register, email Continuing Education at pdpregistration@fit.edu or call (321) 674-8382.
