Learn How to Start a Business and Write a Business Plan

MELBOURNE, FLA. — The Florida Tech Women’s Business Center (WBC) presents the six-week workshop, “How to Start a Business and Write a Business Plan.” The
workshop, which begins Monday, April 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. costs $65. The course will be held on campus in the Link Building, Room 323.

The workshop will begin with ideas, explore opportunities and conclude with the birth of a business plan. Students will learn why some entrepreneurs fail
while others succeed. Content will cover startup costs, investigate markets, competitors and financial statements.

The WBC offers well-equipped facilities conveniently located at Florida Tech; teachers, mentors and volunteers with expertise and business knowledge;
partnering with community organizations for broad outreach; and training and resources that are onsite and online to accommodate busy schedules and provide
easy access.
