Deal Effectively with Performance Issues in the Workplace: A Florida Tech Womens Business Center Workshop Oct. 27

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Florida Institute of Technology Women’s Business Center (WBC) will present “Performance Feedback that Works: The Keys to Feedback and Effective Performance” on Oct. 27, 6-8 p.m.

Handling the poor performance of your employees, associates or friends and family members who work with you can be a frustrating experience. Marsha Valutis will take participants through the important steps of managing performance and delivering feedback in ways that people will not only accept but may even appreciate. She will teach how to get to the heart of the matter with clarity, respect and integrity and share the “must do’s” that promote mastery of feedback communication.

Valutis is an applied, industrial organizational psychologist, teacher, writer and consultant. She helps individuals, teams and business organizations become healthier and happier by providing expert counsel and service as well as transformational tools and facilitation expertise. Valutis has presented workshops at many universities, including for the M.B.A. programs at Boston University and State University of New York—Buffalo. She co-owned and operated a successful consulting practice for many years.
