Lecture Explores Peace Process in Former Yugoslavia

MELBOURNE, FLA. — As part of Florida Tech’s Humanities Lecture Series, William C. Potter, Florida Tech trustee and senior partner of the law firm of Potter,
McClelland, Marks & Healy P.A., will present “Bosnian Diary: A Floridian’s Experience in Nation Building” on March 15 at 7 p.m.
From Aug. 2002 to Jan. 2005, Potter served as head of the Rule of Law Department in the Office of the High Representative in Sarajevo, Bosnia and
Herzegovina. His efforts there helped to implement the Dayton Peace Agreement, which brought an end to war in that part of the world. He worked closely
with all of the senior government officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ambassadors of many different countries and representatives of various international
organizations.
The presentation, open and free to the public, will be on campus in the Hartley Room, second floor of the Denius Student Center.
