“Let’s Get Social” Offers Free Help with Communication and Relationship Issues at Florida Tech Starting Sept. 15

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology’s Scott Center for Autism Treatment presents “Let’s Get Social” every Thursday, 5-6 p.m., beginning Sept. 15. This opportunity is for anyone in the community, age 18-28, with Asperger’s Syndrome or other social communication challenge and offers support in dealing with social challenges at college or work and with friends, family and relationships. There is no cost.

“Let’s Get Social” is a weekly group session sponsored by Florida Tech’s Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) and Scott Center Psychological Services, which provides discussions about managing stress, communication, finding perspective, relationship issues and more. It takes place in the Scott Center seminar room on the second floor and is led by Debra Sloane and clinical psychology students.
