Prestigious Sloan Consortium Adds Florida Tech Virtual Graduate Center

– The Sloan Consortium (Sloan-C), comprised of institutions and organizations dedicated to quality online education, has added Florida Institute of
Technology’s Virtual Graduate Center to its ranks. Membership in the consortium is limited to roughly the top 15 percent of the nation’s online education
programs.

Dr. Mary Bonhomme, Director of the Virtual Graduate Center, said inclusion into the consortium speaks to the quality of Florida Tech’s programs.

“While we are honored to be included in the consortium, the true benefit will be for the hundreds of students currently enrolled in Florida Tech distance
learning programs,” Bonhomme said. “We are part of a vast resource network that will enable us to continually improve both content and methods.”

The Florida Tech Virtual Graduate Center currently offers eleven separate degree programs with more than 200 students around the world. Programs accepted
by Sloan include the M.S. in Acquisition and Contract Management, M.S. in Logistics Management, and the M.S. in Human Resources Management.
