McCay to be Installed as Florida Tech’s Fifth President at Clemente Center Ceremony Friday

Inauguration Will Be Streamed Live Starting at 3 p.m.

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Institute of Technology President and CEO T. Dwayne McCay will be officially installed in office during an inauguration ceremony starting at 3 p.m. Friday.

The invitation-only event at Clemente Center will be streamed live at http://media.fit.edu/inauguration.php.

Board of Trustees Chairman Phil Farmer will lead the ceremony before an anticipated crowd of more than 800 spectators. NASA Deputy Administrator Dava Newman will attend from Washington, D.C., and deliver the keynote address.

And in his inaugural address, President McCay will outline his vision for the future of Florida Tech and the implications for the community.
