** MEDIA ADVISORY** Florida Tech Spring Commencement Set for Friday, May 8

WHAT: Florida Institute of Technology is holding 2015 Spring Commencement ceremonies for undergraduate and graduate students from the Melbourne campus, online programs and extended studies sites.

WHEN: 9:30 a.m. undergraduate ceremony; 2 p.m. graduate ceremony, Friday, May 8

WHERE: Charles and Ruth Clemente Center on the Florida Tech campus, 150 W. University Blvd., Melbourne

WHO: Florida Institute of Technology President and CEO Anthony J. Catanese will lead each ceremony and offer a commencement address.

MORE: Students from 32 states and 61 countries will receive their diplomas during the ceremonies. The undergraduate ceremony will feature 508 students; an additional 452 students will receive master’s and doctoral degrees at the second ceremony. In total, the university will bestow 1,270 degrees for spring 2015.
