Drummer Dunscombe Leads Jazz at Veterans Park in May

– WFIT 89.5FM, a service of Florida Tech and the Palm Bay Parks and Recreation Department, present the monthly Twilight Jazz Jams on Sunday, May 15th. On
the third Sunday of every month WFIT and the department sponsor a jazz performance in Palm Bay from 3 to 6 p.m. The location this month is Veterans Park on
Port Malabar Boulevard.

Bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics, and spend an afternoon listening to great music. The event is free to the public.

This month, drummer Dave Dunscombe will bring his musician friends to present jazz of all kinds. Dunscombe and his group will entertain and educate on how
powerful jazz is as an American cultural achievement, how it has a language of its own, and how the creativity of music can make a statement.

Cocoa resident Dunscombe, the quintessential drummer, is known for his soft hands and expert use of brushes.

Join jazz lovers at Veterans Park in Palm Bay on Sunday, May 15th for an afternoon of unforgettable jazz music. Musicians can sit in after the first set.
