Florida Tech to Host Prop Comic Marty Putz

– Florida Tech’s Campus Activities Board presents Marty Putz, comedian, on Saturday, October 2 at 7 p.m. Putz’s performance will take place in the
university’s Gleason Performing Arts Center. This event is free of charge and open to the public.

Putz, originally from Toronto, Canada, is recognized internationally for his bizarre and unusual comedy. His use of props to allure audiences earned him
spots on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and Comedy Central’s “Make Me Laugh.” He headlined three months of sold out performances in Melbourne, Australia
and will return to participate in that city’s comedy festival.

He has become a favorite headliner in comedy clubs and theaters throughout North America and performs over 150 college dates a year. A few of his trademark
props include a giant inflatable Elvis suit, a “chiropractic machine,” and a “rodent projectile unit.”

The Gleason Performing Art’s Center is on the Florida Tech campus at the corner of University Blvd. and Babcock St. For more information, call (321)
