Mens Golf Finishes Second at Spartan Invite

TAMPA, Fla. – (Men’s Golf) After the Florida Tech men’s golf team was leading the field for the first two rounds of the Spartan Invitational, it was down
to the wire in round three as the Panthers shot 301 and finished second overall. The Panthers had tournament score of 294 which was two points behind
invite champions, Lynn.

Once again, Lance Gillett was the top finisher for the Panthers tying for fourth place shooting four over par and scoring 219 throughout the tournament.

Tech will return to the links Sunday, Oct 14 through Tuesday, Oct. 16 at the NSU Shark Invitational to be held in Palm Beach Gardens.
