Mens Golf Finishes Strong

ORLANDO, Fla. – (Sept. 25) The men’s golf team completed competition on Tuesday at the Coker College Invitational. After a disappointing showing on Monday,
Tech rallied back to finish with a score of 588 which was good enough to share 14th place with Lynn.

“We really came through today,” said head coach Pat Cappola. “The guys did well for the first tournament of the year.”

Leading the way for the Panthers were Dan Moline shooting one under par at 71 and Lance Gillett shooting an even par at
72. As a team the Panthers shot 290 for the day, an improvement over Monday’s shooting of 298. Gillett finished highest among the
Panthers tying for 35th place shooting two over par for the weekend.

Tech will take this weekend off and return to the links October 7-9 at the Spartan Invitational in Tampa.
