Naumoff and West Capture Softball Player of the Week Honors

ORLANDO, Fla. – In consecutive weeks, junior pitcher Amber West (Apopka, Fla.) receives Sunshine
State Conference Pitcher of the Week Honors after going 3-0 in the week ending on March 15th. Florida Tech Senior Katie Naumoff (Poland, OH.) received her first
honors of the year after batting .400 in a week helping the team go 3-1 during the week.

The Florida Tech senior third baseman led the Panthers to a 3-1 weekly mark, including a series win at Tampa. Naumoff batted .400 with five RBI and four
runs scored. She hit safely in each game of the series against UT. In a 5-1 win in the series opener, she was 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI, and one run
scored.

Receiving her second honors in back to back weeks, the Florida Tech junior West went 3-0 with a 0.67 ERA. In 21.0 innings, West surrendered two earned runs
on 11 hits and one walk. She struck out 19. West opened the week with a 2-0 complete-game shutout at Florida Southern. She also tossed complete games in
both of the Panthers’ wins at Tampa.
