– Joshua Manning, of Navarre, Florida, has earned a $1,945 Florida Institute of Technology Presidential Scholarship. Working toward double majors in
management information systems and accounting, he has held a 4.0 grade point average throughout his years at Florida Tech.
Also named Outstanding Junior for the 2004-2005 academic year, he is current president of the Association for Information Management.
Manning is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) and the Florida Tech Epsilon Eta chapter of
Delta Mu Delta, the national honor society in business administration. He is past president of the campus Investment Club.
Florida Tech is the only independent scientific and technological university in the Southeast and was one of just five Florida schools selected in Barron’s
Best Buys in College Education. It is also named among America’s best colleges in U.S. News & World Report.
