Site Director for Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, Named

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Dr. Timothy J. White has been named site director of Florida Institute of Technology’s University College Extended Studies Division
Redstone site in Redstone Arsenal, Ala.

A Huntsville-area resident, White has been operating his own business development and marketing consultancy firm. His primary service was government
contracts including NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, the U. S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. His largest
and most extensive contract was worth over $100 million over a five-year period for the Redstone Technical Test Center which is a U.S. Army Test and
Evaluation Command tenant activity located on Redstone Arsenal. White has also been an adjunct faculty within University College for several years.

White earned a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, a master of science in physics and a master of
administrative science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and a master of public administration and a doctor of public administration from Nova
Southeastern University. He most recently served on the Board of Regents of Oxford Graduate School in Dayton, Tenn.

Florida Tech offers graduate degrees through 10 Extended Studies sites, including the Redstone Arsenal site. The Redstone site serves government agencies,
national and local firms with facilities in the Huntsville area. Major governmental agencies include the U.S. Army Strategic Defense Advanced Technology
Center, the U. S. Army Redstone Readiness Group and NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. Florida Tech also has a Virtual Campus for distance learning.
