Panelists to Celebrate Florida Techs 50th Anniversary

MELBOURNE, FLA. — In celebration of the university’s 50th anniversary, Florida Tech Professors Emeriti will lead the panel discussion, Countdown College:
Launching America’s First Space University, on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. in the Hartley Room, Denius Student Center.

Bob Taylor, professor of history and head of the Department of Humanities and Communications, will moderate the panel. Panel participants are former
faculty members and administrators Tom Bowman, Andy Revay, Tom Stevens and Harry Weber. They share a wealth of knowledge about the university that goes
back several decades as well as a fund of anecdotes.
