Business Ethics Conference Set for April 18

– The Florida Tech College of Business Center for Ethics and Leadership will host its Sixth Annual Business Ethics
Conference, “Ethics in the Global Economy,” on Tuesday, April 18. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Harris Corp. headquarters, Phillip W. Farmer
Customer Briefing Center, in Melbourne.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Continental breakfast is 8-8:30 a.m.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Isabella D. Bunn. Affiliated with Regents Park College, Oxford University, she serves as associate director of the Oxford
Centre for Christianity and Culture. Her expertise in the ethical aspects of globalization has led to appointments with international advocacy campaigns,
public policy foundations, and bar associations.

Following her talk there will be three breakout sessions on China, India and Politics and Globalization. After the luncheon, there will be a panel
discussion, “Ethics in the Global Village,” moderated by Dr. David Steele, dean of the College of Business. Panelists will be Bill McCollum, former U.S.
congressman from Florida; Howard Lance, chairman, president and CEO, Harris Corp.; William C. Potter, attorney and former United Nations Deputy high
Commissioner for Bosnia and Herzegovina; and Dr. Bunn.

Cost of the conference is $100 in advance and $125 the day of the event. There is no cost to Florida Tech students who register and present student I.D.
before April 17.
